[She's strange, she's bizarre, but it feels like she's achieved something he never would. She delights in the aspects of humanity he's given up on.]

[ haha. holding open the doors for her, maybe... anyway they're gonna go to a pretty old-timey styled placed famed for their tempura, the aesthetic within more of a historic flair that the people of today would only know through pictures in a book and their implants.

it's evident that malkuth adores it, for anything else that might've transpired here, and they can get window seats. shrimp... vegetables... clams... a little spread for their delight. and beer of course, nothing goes better with fried food. ]

[It's not...a bad place, he thinks. He's been to a few restaurants here and there, as wide of a spectrum as possible from the dingy carts of the Backstreets to an occasional fancy schmancy celebration in the Nests. This seems right in the middle, and at least it doesn't insult his senses enough for him to complain about it.]

Consider it like the aging thing, or the living book situation. While I was in the Library, I didn't need to -- I could, if I wanted, but it never really crossed my mind unless I was offered something someone else had... appeared. We had coffee and tea a lot of the time, for example, and alcohol too.

Don't drink on an empty stomach, dummy. And even with. They're kind of comforting in a way? Familiar.

Yes, you could. And two of my coworkers loooooved to drink themselves into an unworkable state. It was annoying, but... well, it wasn't like before.

They have rules, but in a different way! The simulated ones did, anyway. It was pretty fun to bust up a bunch of bugs. Simple too. I know I shouldn't be excited to see what we might be called for, but I kind of am.
