[ Someone else has kindly taken the wheel, and that's a relief for Kabru and how anxious he can be about driving. They are lucky enough to run into a relatively smooth stretch of road, and for that reason Kabru can afford to relax a little, using the facilities available to boil some hot water for everyone else. It's probably not a good idea to have alcohol before they go into battle, so he opts instead for a coffee. It's shitty instant coffee, but it'll be enough to warm them up in the chilly climate.
